Artwork created for the first CEX Charity Art Challenge, Exhibition and Auction.
CONCEPT: You are woken at 2am with intense pain in one of your upper molars followed by the longest, loneliest 90 minutes, whilst you wait for painkillers to kick in.
The experience of lying in the dentist’s chair having an abscessed molar extracted, combined with a love of the macabre and a dribble of Cronenberg, gave birth to the idea of the abscessed pin.
